Getting to Todos Santos
Driving to Todos Santos - Todos Santos is a small expatriate and artist colony, offering visitors unspoiled beaches and the warm waters. Todos Santos is located 974 miles south of the border at San Diego via Mexico Highway 1 - a well-paved and maintained two-lane highway. Todos Santos is also located 75 miles north of Cabo San Lucas. Getting to Todos Santos by Air - Todos Santos can be reached by flying into Cabo San Lucas International Airport SJD and then driving north 50 miles; you can alao fly into La Paz' international airport — Marquez de Leon International Airport (LAP) — and rent a car and drive 48 miles to Todos Santos. Both airports in La Paz and Cabo San Lucas are served by most major airlines — including Alaska Airlines, Delta Airlines, AeroMexico and Aero California. Delta offers nonstop service from Los Angeles to La Paz and Cabo.
Bus to Todos Santos - Buses are available on both sides of the Tijuana border. On the U.S. side, the Greyhound Bus Terminal and Mexicoach are located on the east side of Interstate 5, about 100 feet from the Mexican border. Take a Greyhound to the central bus terminal in Tijuana. Go to the ABC/Aguila bus company and get a ticket to Todos Santos. ABC Bus - TEL: (664) 621 24 24 - www.abc.com.mx. If you fly into Cabo or La Paz there are daily busesto La Paz for under $10, it will take about 2 hours by bus.
Getting to Todos Santos by Ferry - Ferry service from Mexico's mainland to and from La Paz to the port cities of Mazatlan and Los Mochis (to Topolobambo) is available for passengers as well as automobiles, when it is in service. Always call first to confirm that the ferry is running, as it sometimes closed down for years at a time. Ferry times vary from 3-18 hours, depending on which service is used. Todos Santos Mexico Time Zone and Current Weather
Time Zone - Todos Santos Mexico lies in the Mountain Time Zone or MST. The clock time in this zone is based on the mean solar time of the 105th degree meridian west of the Greenwich Observatory. Mountain Standard Time (MST) is 7 hours behind Greenwich Mean Time (GMT-7). Todos Santos is one hour ahead of the Pacific Time Zone and one hour behind the Central Time Zone.
Todos Santos Weather - Todos Santos straddles the Tropic of Cancer, so you can expect year round sunny days. December through February the days are warm and nights cool with average temperatures range from the high 40s to high 70s in the winter months. March and April starts getting warmer and more crowded. From the beginning of July the temperature in Todos Santos climbs to anywhere between 90F and 100F and, at night, will not drop below the mid 70sF all summer long. During July through September the weather in Todos Santos can get bad, with heavy rainfall and even the occassional hurricane. The Average rainfall is 22 inches with most falling in September.
