Founded in 1943 in the city of Leon, Guanajuato as Seguros del Centro (SeguCen), they distinguished themselves in the market by establishing long term relationships with its clients and providing excellent service at a reasonable price. This philosophy has enabled them to achieve a sustained growth in central Mexico and become well known in the largest cities in the Republic of Mexico, thus increasing their share in the insurance market. In 2009, the company was acquired by Talanx International, the third largest Insurance Group in Germany, one of the fifteen largest insurers in the European market, which operates as a company under the brand name HDI Seguros in Mexico. The Standard and Poor's has placed Talanx and it´s main subsidiaries in its financial strength ranking in the category of A+ / Stable (Very good).
