Todos Santos Surfing
Todos Santos is about an hour's drive north of Cabo San Lucas on Highway 19 and an hour's drive south from La Paz. Blessed with the most favorable climate in Baja Sur, Todos Santos is a haven for artists, craftsmen, surfers and travelers seeking adventure, natural beauty and a healthy lifestyle. Todos Santos has miles of pristine desserted beaches, with no hotels or developments. Many beautiful beaches are located within a 30 minute drive of Todos Santos. However, the beaches in Todos Santos are difficult to access without a vehicle and it is too far to walk, and the roads are too rough for a bicycle. Take caution when swimming because there are no lifeguards and rip tides, undertows, and fairly steep drop offs that are close to shore exist and some beaches are not considered safe for swimming. Playa Los Cerritos, Playa Pescadero and La Pastora are the best places to surf in Todos Santos and attract surfers from around the world. La Pastora offers the largest waves in Todos Santos and is only recommended for expert surfers. The best time to surf in Todos Santos is in winter and at the end of summer, although the waters get a little cooler. Below is information on surfing in the Todos Satos area of Baja California Sur, Mexico.
