Refund Policy
If you choose to cancel your policy , you must cancel your Mexico Insurance policy before the effective date to receive a full refund of the premium. Our refund rules are stated below:
Daily (Short Term) Policies
There are no refunds after the Effective Date for Short Term (Daily) Policies. In order to recieve a refund for a daily (short term) Mexico Insurance policy you must cancel your policy before it becomes active.
Multiple Entry Policies (6 month and 365 Day Policies)
Policies can be cancelled with a refund prior to the Effective Date of the policy or within 10 days after the Effective Date. You can cancel a long term policy after the effective date, however you will be charged a fee plus the length of time that the policy was active. 6 month and annual policies are considered full term after 15 days of the effective date, no refunds can be made after that time.
Regardless whether you cancel a policy before the effective date or not, you will be charged a cancellation processing fee equal to half the amount of the policy fee.
